PAR ON THE TUART

No, it's not Par this week. We're playing "Guess Who?"

Par on the Tuart - give us a break, please.

Planning on robbing a little bank down the road

It's hard. All those one's you get when you play Stableford become minuses.

Smile of the week

And a threatening weather forecast, predicting a downpour for Saturday afternoon, so don't dither too long over that putt.

Someone who wishes to remain anonymous, tried three times to scan this
through the Golflink computer. Oh, alright, it was TJ.

And we had the added handicap of playing masked up - now that really was a novelty - since apparently golf doesn't count as vigorous exercise. I guess the Premier has never had to push a golf cart up from the thirteenth to the fourteenth.

I have that feeling we're going to play well today.

Unusually for February, it was actually COLD!

Yep, middle of February and it's brass monkey weather

300 acres had the shutters up, so the afters was somewhat subdued.

But our mini-lockdown is over, and we're back on the course, so that's all that really matters.

The groundsman must have been on acid this week

And in case you hadn't heard, the Par 3 competition is rescheduled for this Thursday, Feb 11th at the same time. Unless I hear from you, I'll assume you're still playing (If you weren't down to play originally, and now want to, let me know - Gary I have you already).

Just another mug shot

The novelties were spread around this week.

Feels good to be a winner

Earle just managed to edge out the returning Ian on countback.

Back and in contention

Earle also managed to win the raffle, (how often does that happen?) but he's not getting another photo in the blog.

Well, that turned out alright

Bernie's golf coach has encouraging her to push her posterior out

Apparently it's all about the butt!

And talking of Bernie, a bit of an old home movie turned up this week. Apparently even as a youngster it was hard work keeping her out of the pub.
