PAR BISQUE

Old Course:  3 March 2018

Quote of the day:  “I have a tip that can take five strokes off anyone’s game: It’s called an eraser.” – Arnold Palmer
Missing but not forgotten:  Fran and Blogmaster Derek visiting Bunbury for the weekend.
We didn't miss the complaints about the "advantageous" womens' tees"
Gary will be away in Vietnam for several weeks stocking up on golf clothing for the Club and others!

From Gary’s portfolio of models  -  Paul lanquidly displaying his shorts to full effect
Glen has just returned after a week in Tassie but turned up with a big smile to do the bookings for next week.
Beaming through rays of sunshine!
John, Ian & Dave looking pretty relaxed before the game
Shelley explaining to Thomas scoring and tactics - read on to see if it was helpful!
Greg vying with Brett for best dressed player (although the pic does not do justice to the outfit)
Ian Holmes with his guest, Greg Sorrell
The SOS field moved pretty quickly but there was a bit of wait for the first group on many holes

Waiting ... are you sure its only a group of 3 in front?

Yep! Would have been a winner - if only ...!
AND in the absence of Colin who has to leave early and amazing everyone with his dramatic fall from 3 recent wins to the receiver of the LOLLIES!!  - Earle Scarff -1
All's not lost - thank goodness I bought the large bag of lollies today for the loser! Also, its a myth that Brett has filled up one lounge room wall with his $5 wins from me!
Plus, Brett receives his Gift Certificate from last week
With Scarffy's $5 winnings, I can probably pay for the next 6 months' green fees!

The Novelty Chronicles
(Rumour has it that John has volunteered to do the novelties next week so that Steffie can have another 30 minutes sleep-in!  I will miss the disappointment of not trying for the NTP in 3 on the par 5 13th on the Tuart)
Oh good - this means I can get breakfast in bed as well!
NTP in 3 - -1st hole:  Gordon and then Ron
NTP in 2 – 9th hole:  Gordon, Stephanie and then Shelley Yeo
