Irish Stableford

Yes, it's St Patrick's Day

So Top of the Morning to you

Bejassus

To be sure

And other things Irish people don't actually say, like:

Tea? No thanks

And I'll just have half a pint, please.

But we did play golf, although not in our traditional red, white and blue.

Fun game, this Irish Stableford. Like, your score doesn't matter, then it does matter.

Which is probably why it's called Irish Stableford.

It wasn't hot

And it wasn't cold

It nearly rained, but didn't

We had our very own leprechauns

And we had the novelties

And kind of appropriate

Next week - it's the AGM, and sausage sizzle at Perry Lakes.

But we'll leave you with a thought for the week

 And don't forget:

As you slide down the banister of life,

May the splinters never point the wrong way.

Happy St Patrick's Day
