Spring Cup Final

The final of the Spring Cup drew 22 SOS Club members and two guests to do battle on the Old Course. Once again, the weather was clear, with blue skies, considerable white cloud about and light winds.

Perfect golf weather, so the long hitters were unable to blame wind gusts for rebellious drives!

Raffle

Greg Dunkeld picks up first prize in the raffle and a large value scratchie. Good luck!

Birdies

Five birdies today, which is a little short of the average weekly number.
No doubt there were also a number of near misses!

The Ash Tray

Tom Reilly graciously accepted the role of fines reader by coming last, and did an excellent job in calling out the list of foul play or otherwise deviant behavior by members.

Guests

The President welcomed Birgit Reinartz and Jerry back as guests.

Guests Jerry and Birgit relax after the round.

Eagles

No eagles or holes in one reported for the day. After all, this is an exclusive club!
As a matter of interest, the combined number of golf strokes made by all 23 players today was 2,216.
This works out to be an average of 96.35 per player and 5.35 per hole!
