PAR PLUS

Yes, it was a bit nippy to start with

Not making that mistake of playing with the white balls again...

We rugged up

I'm gonna make sure I chip into the sunny bits

And one or two of us even managed to hit the middle of the fairway on the first

But the sun soon came out and we peeled off those puffy jackets

Par Plus was an interesting challenge.

Not the shots, but the scoring.

However, the computer has learnt how to score it, so no dramas.

Nailed it!

The novelties proved a challenge

And the Golden Hole jackpots again.

Be worth a midweek practice on that par 3, could pick up a couple of hundred dollars next weekend

Found this in the trees. Anyone want to claim it?

We welcomed Tony to the group

They're a bit of a funny bunch, but they seem friendly enough..

Tony shot a very creditable score - I think he's played before..

Two weeks running - whatever he's on, I want some

And said goodbye to Keith and Carol for a while

We'll be reading the blog every week..

 - look forward to seeing you both back again in the summer.

Just popped up this morning

Peter obviously has a breeding pair of flamingos nearby - he's discovered a baby one in his backyard.

Does it peck?

Might want to have a word with Jeanie about that. Assuming she's managed to get her birds back.

We'll be home soon..

The Country Cup is coming up on Sunday September 29th at Meadowsprings. Remember, we won't be playing on Saturday 28th, the day before. Let me or Gary know if you'd like to come and haven't filled in the form yet.

Meadowsprings - kinda nice

$75 for members, $90 for guests. That includes the game, cart, lunch and practice balls.

I think Ian's taken the trophy on holiday with him, but there's room to put a new name on it when he brings it back

And here's something that may not have occurred to you before:

Nest week, it's semi-finals of the Match Play competition, while the rest of us play 4BBB.

Meanwhile, thanks to Keith for this cautionary tale.
