I feel a good round coming on. Maybe in a month or two. |
Country Cup alert - next Sunday, 8.06 at Yanchep Golf Course. Watch out for these:
Kangaroo Ticks out and about this time of year. Watch out in the rough. Long pants a good idea. If you have an insect repellent with DEET, spray this around ankles, wrists and where top tucks into pants. They crawl into gaps. Watch bare arms. Seriously - they're not very nice. I speak from experience.
If you get one, good advice for dealing with them here. Don't just rip them off.

Let Gary know if you want a cart - apparently the course is "hilly"
So, on to today.
How come I've got to play with Derek again? |
"Steph's bum is 122". Is that inches or centimetres? |
Hitting them nice and straight today. |
Greens sanded, so a lot of putts left short.
But, for those of us who were able to master the conditions:

Barry's going to enjoy this. |
Apparently the fines were very disappointing this week. Peter reports that we generally raise a good $20, today we barely made $14. Did we just play well?
Thank you to Graeme for his generous sponsorship. We gather Barry will be enjoying a wide range of toasted sandwiches in the days and weeks ahead.
Beginning to look like a golf course again. |
