Match Play Round 2

Just got him on the last hole..

A beautiful day in the Winter sunshine, followed by a (nutritious?) sausage sizzle at Perry Lakes.

Living the dream

It really doesn't get much better than this.

Good to see you back

Or as our PM would probably have said, "How good is SOS!"

Well, I've got mine. Where's yours?

Never mind - match play brought out our competitive best, and there's only one more qualifying round to go.

I'm backing mum to win next time

We heard from Ian this week. Having a great time fishing up at ninety mile beach. (But he's going to have to give the van a bit of a wash after going off the bitumen to get there)

We kept the kookaburras at bay, and Shelley had managed to pick up some very tasty sausages (but go easy on the lime pickle).

Just love that jacket, Peter

So, the novelties

Yes, thank you. I"m very comfortable

A couple of those games going right down to the last hole, but a result in every match.

Next week it's Club Championship Round 5 on the Tuart,  followed by the third qualifying round of the Match Play the following week back on the Old Course.

Spend any longer in that bunker, Gary, you'll be getting mail addressed to Hitler

Here's something to bear in mind in the meantime:

And if you need any more convincing that golf is as much a game of luck as a game of skill, watch some of these:

See you next week!
