Club Championship, Round 7

One of those wet, dry, hot, cold days. Ah, that's golf.

We've seen the weather forecast
All a bit of a blur this morning

Birthdays to Earle and Bernie.

And to Jan, who did the right thing, and has now established a tradition.

Duck egg cakes with peach liquer. Can't go wrong.

Some of us still having problems getting the ball just where we want it - watch this swing.

Nothing particularly instructional about it. Just thought you'd like to watch it.

But it can always be worse. Here's one you don't want to try.

Vickie apparently scored a ferret on the fifth.

He's looking forward to a comfy life at the Scarff's

Back from our hols
Bugger the golden hole..I've got the golden ball.

Fran's up and about after a spell in hospital this week.

Looking forward to being back on the course in a couple of weeks. She says thanks to everyone who was asking after her, and tell that lazy husband of mine to get back to his job of looking after me.

Steph has also been in for investigation.

We gather she's been released pending further questioning.

And while we're on the subject of hospitals...here's something to be careful of...

Some editorialising going on around who's nearest the pin on the sixth.

Someone's been to the pro shop

Nice new jacket today

A bit of controversy on the par 3..

My point...and I do have one...

0 to 10 in five minutes. Needs a bit of a tune up.

And here are the novelties

GOLDEN HOLE JACKPOTS TO $63

A cautionary tale from the Apple Isle this week:

A Launceston golfer has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison after hitting a fellow player in the head with a golf club.

Not sure if the penalty is one stroke or two for that, but I'm pretty sure in match play it's loss of the hole.

Malcolm very kindly sponsored the prize this week

And earned these for his efforts.

And one thing I learned today. If you turn up late, don't go to the driving range and don't have time to practice on the putting green...

...it really doesn't seem to make much difference to your game! All the best till next week.
