And so it was the return of the WABGA group to Wembley to try and reclaim the Trophy.
The mysterious Ron StarGazer Conway was once again absent, is he running scared? Or doesn't he know which way to place his allegiance?
Nobody knows,,,,,, mmmm the mystery grows.
We do know he was missed by both groups.
One member was heard to cry:-
"Mr Lonely misses Mr Conway!" Ahhhh bless!
Unfortunately due to a few injuries (too many to name) i decided to rest up and have a lazy day, but to earn some brownie points i dropped The Beloved Wifey up at the club and collect her later.
System Failure or System Overload????
And just as well as Brett Lady for a Day Fordi had forgotten the wine for the the prizes, which i could collect on my way back
Mmmmm now what shall i get?
I reckon a cheeky bottle of Bowlers Run could've easily have done the job!
Especially at $2.50 a bottle,,,, hehehehe
Anyway, enough of the drivel as i wasn't around for long, and my imagination is erring towards the inappropriate,,,,, so onwards and upwards my beautiful peeps.
Captain's Corner
And now some wise words from El Capitan & First Lady:-
Please note the return to The Boulevarde after the game this coming Saturday for drinks, presentations & fines.
A few handicap changes after Fellowship Day –
Gim up 1 to 19 (GA 17.5), Greg up 1 to 23 (GA 21), Ian up 1 to 20 (GA 18.1).
Congrats to Derek for 1st and Fran for lollies – a real family affair!
Next week is Par on the Tuart with Graeme Powell as sponsor.

Love & Dedication indeed,,,,,,
As has become custom El Presidente presented a donation to Phyllis and the WABGA members.
Phyllis beautifully responded with a great speech,,,,,,,,
i particularly liked the part where she condoned all the bad behavior and colourful extreme language of BOTH teams.
hehehehee, i told you all that Excessive Swearing Fine was a doozy!

NTP 3-- Wifey Kezza
NTP 9-- Peter
NTP15-- Earle
NTP17-- Gim
And lo and behold the Golden Hole didn't go off again, raising the total for the Tuart to around $150,,
It's getting there team!
Fines of the Week
Unfortunately since i wasn't there for much of the day, so my accumulation of the Fines is not one of the best.
I was just gonna make some up, but i'm a bit tired,,,,, and i've been stuck in front of this laptop for far too long, plus i'm still broken and i've run out of wine,,,,
Brett's texts to Earle-- simply has to be fined for his 'Friday playful if slightly dirty' messages regarding his fellow team mates for the following day.
Yes i have read them, and they are truly BRILL but i have been sworn to secrecy,,,,
Gim to Brett-- "Ahhh Brett i see we're in an all girl group today"
This totally condones Brett secretive pre-match texts :-)
Earle-- for previously not declaring where he goes at 8:15am every other Friday,,,,,,,,, apparently he's been found out as it's for his regular appointment with a chiro, but let's start some gossip mongering eh?
Peter-- for again spilling my beer, not only once but twice!!!!
As Dave Martin beautifully replied to hearing the event unfurl cried out:-
"we want a drug test!"
You'll be glad to hear all was made well again, as a replacement beverage appeared quickly appeared.
Plus it must be stated that other than that, Peter had a great day as he managed a 60m CHIP IN on the 10th for par!
I'm sure it was positively Tiger-Esque,,,,,,,Well done matey!!!!
