A small field hit the course as a few members heard about the heat predicted and headed to the coast to dip in the sea and cool off rather than face the rather tepid day as the temperature reached a balmy 38.
Some of the Stalwarts did brave the heat, and despite the initial trepidation the scores were pretty bloody good.
The weather didn't put off the 'Return of the Denim' as the keen traveller Colin made a very welcome return and showed us his sartorial elegance
There was also a welcome back to Tomothy, with his first round back after the festivities,,,,, and a second round from Paul,,, please feel free to ask about his interesting invitation to the SOS from Gordo, it should bring a cheeky smile to your face.
Some were looking particularly confident and the mood was positive,,,,,
how that was to change!
Both of them were looking especially 'FIRM' at the beginning,,,,,, eh Phil?
Some however faired better than others,,,,, Grandpa and Grandma aka Phil &
Kerry decided that the heat was tooooooooo much, and got Glenn to call for a cart halfway round as they visibly wilted!
So on with the scores,,,,,,
