And yes the Saturday Competition saw the return of that good old favourite, The Yellow Peril, and those horrible yellow balls --and i always thought 'cougars' were great things hehehehe,,,,
and to help us enjoy the festivities and chaos there was a big welcome back to Jodie for his annual game of golf.
If we could harness his power, and get the short game going he would be great addition to the club.

Unfortunately we had a faller even before we started as poor old Peter had a recurrence of his gout and was unable to hold a club.
Many of us know how you feel mate, so we all hope it gets better very soon and we see you swinging the bats again quickly!

It sneaked up on us but apparently Glen, our lovely Booking Officer, had a cheeky little celebration during the week.

RWC Update
And it's all over for another four years with the Mighty Kiwis defeating the Aussies in the Final.
Some tried to stay up for it to shout for their favoured team but the Kiwis were just too strong.
Well done and see ya at the next one!!
