Most people were up early and hitting the practice areas with fervour.

Well most people did, but it would appear the Hangover Fairy had hit a couple of other people too this morning, and chose to hide behind their sunnies,

Rugby World Cup Update
It all started early with Ze German piling in with the criticism about the performance of England at their home World Cup. As much as i hate to say it he was correct, though i presume since The FatherLand doesn't play the game i guess he is barracking for SA.

But to me it all looks pretty open,,,, let the Quarter Finals begin!

Results
Some great scoring today, and our group had a proper battle with Brett and i scoring 39 on the front 9, with Earle bringing up the rear with a 41.
I soon blew up as the lack of alcohol in my system started to affect my distance and direction control, which left the other two going toe to toe,,,, Brett gambled and used his distance to good especially on the par 5, but in the end slow and steady won the day!

Next Week
Another round of stroke, but this time allegedly on the Tuart and we're playing for the SOS Cup round 1 (first of 2 rounds).
Unfortunately that means i have to return the Cup,,,,,, or do I?!

Raffle
A special mention has to go to Brett for running The Worst Raffle in the World Ever, mainly as he ran the tombola, said he was going to win,,,, and then pulled out not only the $10 prize but also a golf ball!
