Stableford on Tuart plus Lot Six Zero Sunday breakfast

Finally a bit of cooler weather with the temperature in the mid 20°'s, a fair bit of cloud cover and no breeze to speak of.  Perfect weather for a game of stress free stableford on the Tuart Course; with 19 members and guest, Trevor Harris, making up the field of 5 groups.

Indeed, the day provided an opportunity for members to sharpen their game ahead of next week's 1st Round of the Club Match Play competition !

Here is Frances teeing off at the par 3, 3rd hole.

Moments before, Boris' tee shot only just reached the white tee markers, in fact it was so close it took some time for Frances and Boris to decide whether or not it constituted a 's#ut'!

Deliberations in progress!

You be the judge!

A little later, Puggy was showing his awsome form on the 8th hole when his second stroke nearly holed out, only to backspin about 3 meters, far enough to make the birdie attempt unsucessful!

Very nearly an Eagle!

Ohhhh! The Backspin #$%^&!

SOS President Tony Gooch opened the post match meeting and noted there were no birthdays to celebrate this week!

Tony reminded everyone of the breakfast planned for tomorrow morning at the Lot Six Zero eatery , Innaloo.  A great opportunity to enjoy good food and company and thank Glen and Linsey Pope for their sponsor support of SOS over many years.

The change in banking arrangements from ANZ to Westpac has been completed so, if you have not already done so, please delete your ANZ direct debit details from your on-line systems and replace them with the Westpac details - see below:

Stableford Results

SOS Captain, Andrea Williams, announced the most honest player award went to Vickie for scoring 21 points, thereby winning the packet of lollies and the honour of calling out the list of fines.

Andrea reads out the competition results.

However, Glen 'Pug Dog' Kelly, in a majestic display of golfing finesse, scored twice as much as Vicki, and a full 6 points ahead of 2nd placed Bernie with 36 points. Frances beat Shelley in a tie break for 3rd place, one point behind on 35 points.
