The forecast was for scattered showers however they all missed the Wembley Golf Course enabling the 22 SOS Members to enjoy a very pleasant round on the Old Course.
The 5th round of the 7 round Club Championship enabled a number of members to consolidate their aggregate scores, whilst others hoped their inflated scores would be eliminated from their 'best of 5 rounds'. Only 8 players managed to score 75 net, or less! Ten players scored over 100 strokes gross!!

President's Address
SOS President, Brett Fordham opened proceedings by calling the meeting to order!
Brett congratulated Mark Hill who celebrated his birthday last week on 27 July.
Brett noted the SOS annual Country Cup event was fast approaching and will be held on 25 September 2022 at the Araluen Country Club, in the southern Perth foothills. Further details will be announced in coming weeks.
The Results
SOS Club Captain, Gerry Tessier, had a hard time containing his excitment as he listed off the players from last place to first!
Mark Wilson, who is normally higher up on the results list, humbly accepted the bag of lollies and fines list, with a net score of 89.
However, in first place Gerry had to congratulate himself for scoring a net 69 points, 3 points clear of Stephanie in 2nd place on 71 points and Birgit another one point more on 72.
