Picked this up in an instructional golf book. Looks like it ought to be useful, but the more I look at it, the more I think it's just someone's idea of a pretty pattern.
And a special word must go to Max, who broke eighty off the stick for the first time - congratulations.
So - the scores for the second round:
Some exceptional scores
We said goodbye to Gerry, who will be playing elsewhere in future - we hope he takes with him happy memories of his time with SOS.
Thanks to Stephanie, who stood in for Ross and extracted vast fines from the assembled company.
And now, the aggregate scores for the Summer Cup competition.
And in handing the trophy to Max, we noticed that Colin had first won this trophy back in 1975, that's forty four years ago. Back then, we guess he must have been even younger than Max is today!
Some great rounds of golf, four exceptional aggregate rounds, and a four-way tie separated only on countback.
Next week - it's a comfortable round of Stableford on the Old Course. And we're reassured that it will be a little cooler.
