The Spring Cup - yes, it's that time of year again. When the grass is all long and green, and you can't find your ball even though it's just rolled off the fairway.
But we managed to just miss the showers - it was all surprisingly pleasant, in spite of a gloomy weather forecast.
We'd been warned that the greens had been sanded and cored. And they certainly had been. A fair few putts were left short on the first nine, methinks.
Wembley discounts the green fees for these cored and sanded rounds. For now, pay the normal amount each week, then once the cored and sanded regime for both courses is complete, Shelley and Glen will reimburse everyone who played on those days.
Country Cup is coming up. Either pay Shelley on Saturday, or pay online to the SOS account. Shelley will remind everyone of the details shortly.
