Greg Bennett nominated John Messenger:  “A most enjoyable game and a great contest, played in good spirit, against John who played very well. It would be a pleasure to play him again if we both reach the quarters.”

Fran Longhurst nominated Glen Pope:  “Although Glen gave me a lesson in how to play golf he was ever the gentleman, raking my bunkers and even pushing my buggy for me.  At no time did he make me feel a loser or rub my nose in it after he won convincingly.  He even offered to buy me a commiseration glass of wine afterwards.”  [Blogster:  By this time we were all gagging – Glen will be unbearable now!]

Although not usually singling out one person , this week’s blog thanks Steffie for showing us the extreme good and colourful (but not so good) part of the game!
