Tuart Course Wembley Divorced Pairs

Prize Sponsor:  Ross Campbell
The format Divorced Pairs almost lived up to its name. The Stanger Family decided to pair together and share a cart.  This was the first mistake as you will see by my disgusting score.  I was coached for 18 holes, keep you body still, head up, you not looking at the ball, bla, bla, bla. Certainly learned a lesson and it was not a golf lesson!
Besides my problems, everybody else had a reasonable game, although not the scores as expected.

Mardi Freeman  95  Well Done  (2nd Card)
Bruce Freeman  103  Needs a bit of wife coaching!  (2nd Card)

Club Championship, Round 2

Look, we've done better - but we've also done worse!

The forecast was for sunny periods with scattered showers, and that's exactly what we got - the umbrellas on the first tee were sunshades by the fourth.
The first time we had seven groups in the field for a long time, and that was without Stephanie, Charmaine, Roland et al.
Solvent! Yes, we're solvent!

A welcome to Nola and Steve, playing their first game as members, to Rocket who kindly sponsored the round, and to guests Mardi, Bruce and Peter Nichols..

The novelties:

2nd Hole
Nearest the pin
Paul B
6th Hole
NTP in two
Colin
10th Hole
Longest Drive
Paul B
13th Hole
NTP in two
Paul G

And the Golden Hole was almost a dead heat between Paul G and Judith. Apparently the decision went to Judith by a "bee's dick".

Signing on for another round
