As we start the First Round of the Summer Cup we were rudely greeted by the introduction of the New World Handicap Rules.
Many would've noticed the outright sexism of it, as the men's handicap appeared to go down, whilst the ladies went up.
What's that all about eh?
Well it certainly got Derek The Procrastinator thinking,,,,, just wish i had a thought bubble!
We also had the pleasure of being joined by the Travelling Farmer and The Lucky Leprauchaunette, who came all the way from Albany (via The Aussie Open in Melbourne) to join us for a cheeky drink and to run the Raffle!
Now that's commitment!!!!!
Funniest of the Day
Since i had the pleasure of playing with this man, he continued to amuse all of us by his sheer skill of being able to hit any ball, from any place into the nearest tree.
we therefore proclaim Barry The Aborist to be King of the Trees, and to go and apologise to the nearest garden centre.
I have just been informed that this title could easily be taken off him by Peter The Tree Hugger, who did indeed hit the same tree twice.
Beware the foliage,,,, it bites!!!
So what happened in the golf???
Well, to start Jack Peg Leg Tylich was forced to retire as his leg fell off.
This apparently affected his balance, and he had to leave to lick his wounds for another day.
We hope you get better soon buddy!
