Whoa, birthdays for Malcolm and Greg. Happy Birthday guys!
Match play, which shouldn't really be a different game, but somehow it is.
But a lot of fun was had, at least by most.
Remember, if you're going to be away for the quarter finals, etc, remember to tell Glen so he doesn't draw you.
There was some discussion as to whether we're allowed to clean the ball if we pick it up to take advantage of a preferred lie on the fairway.
Still no ruling on this, but the president will consider the issue in time for next week's game. Becomes of some significance on wet days like today.
A reminder - when playing match play, you MUST play in order of distance from the pin until you get on to the green. Once on the green, furthest plays first, then furtherest's partner - these two playing the hole out with furthest away playing first each time. Then the other pair play out similarly.
Who got birdies today?
The novelties seemed a bit more challenging that usual today. No-one picked up the NTP on the 12th, so we manage to save the club a ball.
And the Golden Hole jackpots again.
So, how did we all go?
Next week, Club Championship Round 3 on the Tuart.
God, please make them all play nicely. |
