How to complete scorecard seminar to be
scheduled?
Disappointing to note that for the Club Championship
there are two cards which on the face of it are subject to disqualification. Copies of the cards will be sent to the 2
players concerned. There were 3 players
who overscored their stableford score but escaped disqualification as this was
a stroke comp and the stroke scores were correct.
There were 2 players in the Perry Lakes Cup who underscored
and either could have been the winner with correct cards. Even ex Captain Earle made a fool of himself
on the 1 April fixture by underscoring by 1 – however, Earle thinks it was a
deliberate miscalculation by his partner, Brett, to prevent him from getting a
better score!
Glen receiving his 2 balls for 2nd. Sorry
to the other 4 players on 72!
LOLLIES
Countback for
the lollies between Rob and Charmaine
And the winner of the lollies – lucky Charmaine!!!
NOVELTIES
2nd hole - NTP: Jan
6th hole – NTP in 2: Gary
9th hole – NTP in 2: Paul
13th hole – NTP: Brenda
Do not recommend starting the day at the 19th hole!!! –
Brenda nabbed before the game!!!
Officer: Madam,
would you please blow into the bag.
Brenda: blow
blow blow
blow blow – sorry Officer, I can’t blow, I’m
out of wind!
Officer: I can
wait.
Brenda: Can I
have one phone call? (Need to
organise Kerry and Paul to swap cart seats in time!)
Is this a “classy”
shot or what!!!
On the 17th, bush to bush for the first 2 shots (hope a fine
was paid) and then chips in from 76 odd metres for a birdie!!!
Good to see Greg back and looking well– may be playing in a couple of weeks. Not too sure though about the success of Glen’s operation as he was overheard saying just before Greg presented the prize, “Has Greg arrived?
Why are we waiting, why are we waiting … Group 1 had a long
wait before Group 2 arrived.
Another photo
opportunity for Shelley and Paul!
Thanks to Lynne and Stephanie for photos and content.
Next Week: Stableford on the Tuart. Sponsor: Clement & Co.
