A fine but blustery day welcomed us to Rockingham Golf Club, well most of us, as Steve and Nola decided to take a slight detour on the way down,,, and forgot to bring the Cup.
Fortunately all were there for the tee-off on time and bristol fashion, with all the warnings of wayward play obvious,,,
I simply chose to ignore those foolish words!
Some were out practising hard expecting fine things from the days play but i personally was a tad distraught after the poor showing in the rugby.
Just look at the size of Peter's "training Golf Club",,,,,

I was not the only one who had had a bad weekend as certain other people were ready to gloat,,,, though i have to say it was only gloating via the scarf as Coach was remarkably quiet (for a change!),,, hehhee
It was a big welcome to a couple of guests, Vanessa and Eddie (sorry Eddie i haven't got a pic of you mate,,, maybe next time, if we've talked you into coming back!).
And it was great to see the lovely Rita finally have an outing, and good to see the Stan "The RuleMan" Tan back for another round of fun.
Now since this is the Country Cup and not the usual blog it will be slightly abbreviated and possible some parts repeated for next week.
RWC 2015 Update
I really don't care any more as England lost, which meant i lost both financially and emotionally so i blame the England Rugby Team wholeheartedly for my poor showing,,,, especially as i got up at 3am to witness the result LIVE.
I do have to say that the Aussies out-played us in EVERY department, which i wasn't expecting!
My hopes are now pinned on The Paddies as my no.2 team. Hopefully that won't be the "Kiss of Death"
