Peter The WeatherMan as normal consulted the radars and correctly stated we were in for a beautiful Winters' Day with scattered showers, which were due to clear up after lunch.
And yet again he was correct, faith has certainly been restored in his accurate predictions.
Much in keeping with the weather, the Birffffday Boy, Derek was looking very dapper in his cravat.
Points for Golfing Style, Glen???
Anyway enough of the pre-amble, lets get to the important stuff:-

What a great score by Gary, well done indeed, 72 off the stick!!!
So nearly a par round,,,, and 8 shots ahead of the next best.
Let's see if he can hold his nerve and take the Winter Cup overall next week.
A special note should also go out to Rob who got an Eagle on the 1st and pocketed a cheeky $25.
Nice work buddy.

Golden Hole
Although the par 3's were attacked well today (especially by myself hehehe), the Golden Hole wasn't won so the funds have Jackpotted to $77!
Ashes Update
Well as expected at The Home of Cricket, the Aussies finally showed up & the English crumbled with normal service being restored, on what has to be said was a pretty ordinary pitch!
So that's one 'stuffing' each, what will the next Test bring?
The Boulevard
I don't know about anybody else but i would like to applaud Shelley for booking the tables at The Boulevard in Floreat.
A cracking venue with good beer and food.
Thanks Shelley, and i for one certainly look forward to being back there next week.
New Shirts
Unfortunately due to alleged flight delays out of Kalgoorlie we weren't able to pick up the new shirts from Brett, so we'll have to wait until next week to don our new gear.
I do though have my doubts about his excuse, as the jungle drums were beating that he was last seen at the following establishment
Fine of the Week
As usual there were many candidates for this very prodigious one including:-
Vickie trying to hit her Tee shot twice
Paul & Vickies shanks
Dummy spits by both Deano & myself
Colin and his 'ball-lickers'
but the winner has to go to,,,,,,,,, drum roll please,,,,,
Mr Roland Stanger
For his impression of a JCB digger after taking 8,,, yes 8, in a bunker!!
top work for carrying on mate, where many of us may not have.
Random Pics
Apologies for the quality of the pics this week as my phone got a little bit damp
