Championship #1

 Back to serious business,

AKA SOS Club Championship 1st round

Some take it seriously!

BEFORE THE GAME

like practicing "air-chipping" at the red lights

Others showed appreciation of the pink day,
a week too late though.
Gordon, we love your daughter's club cover.

While some even honored
the pink day starting time.
Steph, never ever startle us again
by arriving 30 min be4 tee off!

Mark W. lost control of his bag,
but blogger was too late
(next time mate ☺)

Well done Frances ❤

Next weks comp:

Player’s score in Par competitions receive a plus (+), minus (-) or square (□) at each hole played in relation to his/her handicap.

A point or plus (+) is achieved by beating par at a hole in relation to the player’s handicap.

A square (□) is achieved by matching par at a hole in relation to the player’s handicap. A point is deducted or a minus (-) placed on the card if the player fails to beat or match par at a hole in relation to the player’s handicap.

The player’s score for each hole should be placed in the appropriate column (e.g. your score in the Marker 1 column) and the points in the Result column.

Ladies Day!

The new Bond girl, Pinky Delightful, shows Gerry where to put his stick

A special day on the SOS Calendar Ladies Day, and what a day it was.

Off on their holidays, but turned up anyway

Feeling in the pink

We were subjected to the dreaded pink ball game a nerve-racking experience every time you were handed the neon coloured sphere, with all your team holding their breath behind you, praying that this would be one drive that you wouldn’t put into the trees.

Shelley hits the first one
All in the pink

Andrea: "Can you make sure you get me in the shot."

But for all that, a lot of fun, a great idea and a huge success. Special thanks to the ladies committee who put the day together – Shelley, Carol, Birgit and Andrea.

Only a real hunk can wear pink and carry it off

At least it wasn't the pink ball
Of course I'm wearing pink - I've just been to Victoria's Secret

Gerry played so well with the pink ball that he has now put in an order for two boxes, so if you find one in the bush you’ll know who to return it to.

Nailed it!

Everyone made a great effort to be pink we gather Steph is planning to start a side-hustle putting out the cones on the side of the highway she’s certainly got the right gear for it.

I've been in better spots than this

And, of course, Steph’s birthday was celebrated last Sunday. You weren’t there?

Just style, boys. Just style.

Mark Macnish celebrated his birthday too last week, on Wednesday.

I've had a few of these today

And Pugsy is looking forward to his this week. We gather the card says 61, but on Tinder it’s been 45 for several years now.

Hooray - I've finally hit one straight

I want to express my thanks to Earle for paying my fine for hitting a slut on the third. (Not that slaggy bird on Married At First Sight, you know what I mean)

Ex-president Brett is away for four weeks. He’s enjoying being out of office.

The prizes today are looking good

Today was, of course, a team game. On each hole, the player with the pink ball scored the points, plus the score of the highest other player. So – an awesome responsibility with the pink ball in hand, and a minimum of four holes for each player to play with pinkie.

Guess what? I've got pink balls.

Next week - the first round of the SOS Club Championship. The game is maximum stroke, remember the rule maximum of 10 strokes on pars 4 & 5, maximum of 7 on a par 3. Just pick up if you’re really in trouble, and take the maximum.

Pinky Delightful again
