What a day!



Round 2 of the Spring Cup



President's Birthday

Probably the hottest day of the year so far

And the Eagles in an elimination final

Not to mention the Rugby

And now, by popular request, another round of

The golf was good, but bear this in mind..

Thomas bagged an eagle on the 10th. 

Not content with a mere birdie

Gim fined herself for not doing anything wrong.



Then went on to win the raffle

Shelley needs final numbers for the Spring Cup by September 26th at the very very latest.

Special thanks to Thomas for organising it and getting all the drinks, Tui for the great potato salad, Frances for buying the sausages and buns, Steph for the great kiwi coleslaw, Brenda for the scrumptious rocket, walnut and pear salad, Gary for the Greek salad with a twist, Vickie for the amazing cakes and everyone else who contributed.

Spring Cup, Round 1

Aaah, the joys of Spring.

Feeling confident

Put away all that wet weather gear, this is the rest of the year.

Perfect golfing weather.

After all this practice, I hope to get the opportunity to chip on somewhere.

Slow play wasn't a problem.

The only way your ball is going to get wet is an ill-placed shot on the 5th.

(Why is it always the nice new ball?)

Which reminds me, Peter would like us to know that he now has ducks.

Some confusion with the cards today. It appears on newer cards, the ladies indices have been changed. Some of us had new cards, some of us had old ones. Fortunately, today was a stroke competition, so Vickie and Lynne will work it all out later.

BIG REMINDER from Club Captain. Let the person doing the sheet know before 5pm Wednesday if you're not going to play, otherwise you forfeit your payment. And you should be paying one week in advance - ie this Saturday, you are paying for next Saturday. No freeloading.

Apparently, after being on the green in 2 on the 5th, Charmaine managed to putt into the water. Roland claims she shouted at him to "say something!".
