Where’s Richard!  May as well do some more limbering up while waiting!

All in a row on the 11th thinking:
Richard:  “**!!** Even driving off the Ladies tees, Lynne’s outdriven me again!”

Lynne:  “The boys’ handicaps are going to suffer hitting off the Ladies tees, even if I am outdriving them!"
Peter:  “Only an inch in front but I’ve finally outdriven Lynne!”

Winning the Lollies (or chocolate Bilby) sees a serious Gim happily fining the masses!

Its not just drinks after the game!

Next week’s game:  Club Championship Round 1.  There are 7 rounds and to be eligible for the open Club Champion, Club Handicap Champion, A Grade Champion, B Grade Champion and Ladies Champion, you need to play at least 11 games in the Winter Season including at least 5 Club Championship rounds.  If you play more than 5 Club Championship rounds, then only the best 5 rounds are counted.  A player can only win one Championship trophy per year in the order of priority as listed above.
Sponsor for next weeks game:  Greg Bennett.  Greg will be coming to drinks after the game which is welcome news!

LADIES DAY

There was some competition for the Mug Cup!  Gary drew out holes 4, 14 and 18 and the stableford scores for these holes were deducted from the total stableford score to determine the Male Mug and the Lady Winner.

Ross was very concerned that he would be the recipient but was not even close!  Stan was so worried that he did not come to drinks after the game (although on Stan’s behalf I will say that he did have a good excuse(s) for leaving early – getting his house ready for the market, sore back from misjudging the height of one of the limestone walls when sitting down and so on...).  Rob Gray then looked liked he had taken the Mug BUT after waiting (and waiting) for the last group to come in:

The winning (or last) male was MAL on 17 after a deduction of 2.    However, as Derek said, winning the Mug Cup is a badge of honour.

Ladies Day winner was JAN on30 after a deduction of 2.  Sponsor ROSS presenting Jan with her prize.

BANDIT ALERT!   BANDIT ALERT

Last seen at the Christmas Party! Probably played his last game in WA Week last year!

Its just not fair!!!

BEGRUDGINGLY, CONGRATULATIONS TO TONY LEE, WHO TOOK OUT THE  GOLDEN HOLE.  However (hahaha), jackpot was only from that day’s game!

2nd Hole:  NTP:  Guess who!  Have yet to get this boy’s face in a photo!  However, the pattern of his new pants is probably a better view.  Congrats Don!

6th Hole:  NTP in 2:  Jan’s look of delight makes up for another view of the back of Don’s head.

12th Hole:  NTP in 2:  The Bandit strikes again!!

15th Hole:  Ladies Longest Drive:  A very happy Lynne!!

Welcome back Captain Gary

Gary has a new venture, making and selling LAIRY golf pants!!!  4 pairs already sold to the Pro Shop with several orders from members.  Some stunning examples:

NOW IF IT HAD NOT BEEN A NOVELTY COMP, the winner would have been Ron.  But he doesn’t appear to be too unhappy.  Looks like Earle's man bag in the foreground:

RAFFLE:  The Bandit won 2 balls but I refuse to show another pic of him!  Instead a smiling Thomas.

NEXT WEEKS GAME: Easter Cup:  Not too big a field, I fancy my chances!!

APRIL FOOLS DAY BOYS!!!!  I suspect moderate Birthday celebrations by Ciaran and I am sure very boisterous Birthday celebrations by Roland.  Hope you both had a very good - lucky to miss the sledging after the ame!

Frustrated would be shopper?  While Fran is away, Derek will play – couldn’t wait to hit the Wembley sale counters to try on as many shirts as possible before teeing off.

Just as well the outfit looks good!  Obviously Brett needs some time to pose!  After not seeing Brett, for several weeks, he then disappeared to the Eagles match after the end of the golf.  However, from the reports of the messages between Brett and Earle during the Eagles match, the Eagles needed Brett's support to just et over the line!

What is Thomas eating!!!  It didn't work - Thomas needs some help with healthy options before play

Elder Statesmen of the Club enjoying a quite natter before teeing off!

AND NEXT'S MUG CUP FOR THE LUCKY LOWEST MALE SCORE
Even Gary has won this!  Oops, panic attack - just went to check trophy to see how many times Derek has won (at least 3?) and can't find it - hope it is in Earle's car!!  Tomorrow will tell - could be sacked after being 3 weeks on the job!

Signing off - have almost mastered this only taking about 4 hours working out how to put photos on the Blog.  I need more lessons from Derek on taking photos!
