Presidents Cup

Sponsored by Ze German,,,,, Das ist sehr gut,,,,, Roland,,, Danke!

excuse meine Deutsche

any how,,,, what really happened?
I did say no Blog,,,,, but in the current circumstances i reckon a few things are worthy of comment.

One,,,, if you have a heart condition, it's a tad warm
DON'T PLAY FKN GOLF!

Gary,,,, i hate to publish this but you are indeed a fool!

Secondly, if it's hot be like a scout and 'be prepared',,,,,,,,, cold towels, icy drinks (not vodka BlogMeister) hehehhhehheeee]

Apparently a couple of people faded too,,,,, both ladies and blokes

Stableford Comp

Sponsored by El Presidente Shelley Yeo.

Well what a beautiful day it was as 20 of us set out for a game of Stableford.

Maybe the start of Spring has finally Sprung and the good weather could finally be here,,,,

YIPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE

Spirits were high, and the hangovers were slight as we sauntered out to play.

Some however came more prepared than others,,,,,,

No it wasn't the 'bacon fairy' for Tomothy today that helped him out,,,,,,

but he brought his girlfriend along to caddy and to drive for him!!!!

Lucky boy,,,,,

But did it work????

Some prefer not to play in the presence of their better half,,,, so it could easily go either way

The Results
So what happened then??????

Well the caddy clearly worked, as Tomothy not only brought home that slab of bacon,,,,

but a very happy missus,

and ANOTHER WIN!

Now we will need to check the records, but i believe that is the

First Time in History that Somebody Has Won Three Weeks on the Trot!!!!!

Top work buddy and enjoy the great form.

Novelties
NTP2--   Stan
NTP6--   Earl
NTP10-- Colin
LD15--   Stan

And the wonderful Gim won The Golden Hole and took home the massive amount of $38.
It must be noted that it was nearly a 'hole in one' as the spectators saw it lip out and ended a mere foot from the pin.

Fines of the Week
So to set the scene,,,, let's start with pretty much as soon as we got there as we all congregated around the payment table,,,,,

Vickie--  Unfortunately she was a little presumptuous by putting out completely the wrong cards, just a week early,,,,,,,
An easy mistake to make, just a perfect Vicki-ism to start the day xxxx

Stan--  For coming last for the first time at SOS,,,, spitting the dummy and going home,,,, and not showing up to the dinner....
The last bit is pure fabrication, call it poetic license, as he was never down to come due to other commitments.

Earl--  For being the Clumsy Scarff, and spilling Brenda's coffee.

Brett-- For his impression of D'Artangnan, and for beating me on Saturday and taking me money.
Bloody French!!!! Heheeeeee

Richard--  For getting too excited over the raffle and 'blurting out'

Don--  For his great play and his luck with the raffle and taking home an evidently full sac of new balls.

Earl-- For a great rendition of the Loony Tunes 'That's All Folks' whilst trying to run the announcements

Random Pics

Contemplating the day and last week
eh Stanna????

Worst raffle in the world ever, as The Scarlet Pimpernel wins again.

I'm not really sure what's going on today??

You've left the wrong bloody cards out Vickie

I always wanted to be a French Musketeer

Big box of goodies from the Annual Dinner put's a smile back on The Coach's face.

Is this Mrs Scarlet Pimpernel?????

No it's Tomothy's caddy!

Annual SOS Club Dinner

And so the night drew in for the much anticipated

SOS Annual Club Dinner

and what a night it was to be as we all dressed in various shades as the theme was GREEN.

A MASSIVE shout out must go to our Entertainment Officer, and compere Brett PrettyBoy Fordy, who did us proud with the organisation of the event and the festivities.

Nobody was really prepared for the onslaught of games and prizes that were to ensue.

Thanks also to Vickie & Earl for organising all the trophies

Peter for being the nasty debt collector, and chasing up all the funds.

And of course El Presidente Shelley for a fantastic speech fully embracing the GREEN theme and teaching us about everything that is, or should be, GREEN.

And who will ever get the picture of Malcolm's Green Balls out of their minds!!!!!!!

There was some calm before the storm, as The Gardner's were once again allowed to ready themselves at the Scarffs

On the deck getting ready to hit the dinner,,,,,, did i say how much i like your hat Earlos?

Just about to leave,,,,,,,

Trophy in the foreground, and visions of green in the background

And then it was time to welcome the guests,,,,,, i make no apologies for being in pretty much all of the rest of the photos!
You know you love it!

I do apologise if i missed anybody out throughout the night,,,,,,

The Speeches & Awards

Congrats to all those that won trophies and all the winners,,,,,,
(The winners list will be published at a later date.)

Special mention must go to Phil The Masters McKeague for the most
magnificent effort of truely dressing for the occasion.

Where on earth did you find that marvellous jacket?????

And then after the speeches,,,,,, came THE THIRSTY GAMES,,,,, well not really drinking games, but party games with prizes presented by our host with the most Brett The Hulk Fordy

Making Piles of stuff:-

Moving biscuits to your mouth- 'The Oreo Challenge'

Ready for it,,,,,

Oooops dropped it

This is harder than it looks,,,,, and it looks hard!

And then there was the rest of the night,,,,,,,

FINALLY, A BIG THANKS TO ALL THAT CAME ALONG TO CELEBRATE THE CLUB, YOU ALL MADE IT A FANTASTIC AND UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT!

ps- if anyone has a fold up carpet putting green, can i get it back please as i haven't a clue where i left it???!!!
