Matchplay Final and Ambrose Pairs Wembley Tuart Course Saturday 23rd August 2014

Sponsor:  Francis Longhurst
Beautiful weather made for a day of great golf.  The Stangers and Freemans got behind their man in the Final Matchplay.  Needless to say my nerves were on edge holding thumbs for Ullrich.  Well Gary had us all in stitches of laughter with the following, hopefully Graeme will soon get his "P" plates!
I have no idea why they making me pose, must be my new bag!

Par Bisque Wembley Tuart Course Saturday 16th August 2014

Sponsor:  Don Beesley

I think the game scared away a few women as we were only four players on Saturday.  The game did not go as smoothly as we would have wanted, especially myself, but then again that's a reason to return the following week.  The day's golf was riddled with birdies.  The afternoon was wonderful, entertainment provided by the one and only BRUCE!  Mardi you should let your husband out on his own more often LOL!

Derek has given us all an idea, forget the clubs at home, hire a set from the Pro Shop and borrow a few clubs from fellow players - results in A WIN!  Ummmm looking at the below results, you should buy those clubs!

American 4's Wembley Tuart Course Saturday 2nd August 2014

Sponsor:  SOS Club

First of all welcome back to our members who were away on holiday (Judith, Francis and Derek). Also welcome to our new member Christine.  What a pleasure to play a game with her.

The day commenced with awesome weather, unlike last weekend where rain washed out the game after nine holes.  I take my hat off to the few players who dared the downpours.
Walking up to the first hole I was about to apologise to Peter Baird for having me as a partner but he told me to hurry up as we were going to win.  Well what a surprise when we did!  It was a great day, thanks Peter.
The game of American Scramble really tested players by hitting their partners T'Shots from areas they have never been before. Fun was had by most.
Novelties:
NTP #3  Malcolm
NTP #9  Steve
NTP #12  and Golden Hole   Judith - Just back from holiday and already taking the money!
