Club Championship, Round 3

Brrr - time to get those warm jumpers out of the cupboard. A cloudy, overcast day which was 14 degrees when we teed off, and never got above 18 degrees all day.

Welcome back to Paul and Fanchea

Easy game...

And do note that the Quiz night is now postponed for a week, until the 14th June. It will still be at St Ives, 6.30 for 7 - and do bring your friends, but let Kerry know how many of you will be coming.

Charmaine will be back blogging next week.

Wet and blustery - no-one was going to break the course record today. Gary took great pains to protect the novelty markers with plastic bags, but there were still some pretty soggy cards by the end of the round.

Birthdays to Malcolm, Greg and Bruce. And now for the novelties:

Congratulations to Don, who unfortunately couldn't stay for the presentation, so we just have some pictures of random players instead.

What's the opposite of "A rose between two thorns?"
