Well what a start to the Club Championship with rain threatening for eighteen holes and unfortunately the last two groups were caught in it.  Personally I think it was the second last group to blame for that!  It was a challenging day for a few golfers (Stangers).  If anybody has a putter that puts the ball in the hole, let me know, I sure can do with one of those.  Congratulations to Paul Bishop for making it into the Club.  Our visitors handed in their second card and had net scores as follows:

Great weather to start off the Easter Cup on the Old Course. I had an enjoyable game with Peter, Greg and Mr Funny (Richard). Amazingly we were able to fill five teams. It proved to be a Stanger Day with all four family members playing...... and one winning!

It was an enjoyable day hosting the annual event:  SOS vs Vision Impaired Westerners. The weather conditions were extremely humid and hot and so were certain golfers! I spent most my time looking for lost balls and waiting!  The day actually ended with a Win and a Loss, both from the Stanger Clan!
